Ingredients
2 piece(s) coconuts, peeled, split and grated (save the water)
750 gr sugar
4 piece(s) cloves, ground
1 piece(s) lime (juice)
Directions
  1. Put the coconut pulp and the water from both coconuts, half pound (250 g) of sugar and the cloves to cook.
  2. When the syrup begins to thicken, add the rest of the sugar and lime juice, stir with the cagüinga (wooden spoon) until it hardens.
  3. Remove small portions with a spoon, place on a wet surface and let cool.
