500 gr icacos (cocoplum)
500 gr sugar
pinch lemon to taste
Directions
  1. Cut the icacos in a cross and leave in lemon water overnight.
  2. In the morning remove the skins.
  3. Cook with sugar, on low heat, in enough water to cover them, until they soften and release part of the pulp.
  4. They should be like a jelly.
  5. Add a few drops of lemon so they turn red, remove from heat and serve in dessert bowls.
