Ingredients for the meatballs:

masa (corn dough)

onion

small bunch of yerbabuena (spearmint)

Directions
- Cut the hens into pieces and put them to boil in the 4 liters of water with the vegetables and culantro, onion, sweet pepper, garlic, bouillon cubes, pepper and salt.
- Meatball preparation:
- Then remove the breasts, shred them and mix all the ingredients.
- Form small balls and fry them in the oil.
- Then add them to the soup and turn off the heat.
- The balls will cook with the residual heat.
- If it's too greasy when cooling, place lettuce leaves on top of the soup, as the grease will stick to the leaves.
- If you want it a little thicker, take some of the same masa, mix it with a little water and a little strained broth and add it to the soup.
