Ingredients
1/2 cracked white or yellow corn
3 eggs
250 homemade natilla (Costa Rican sour cream)
1 cup(s) leche agria (homemade sour milk)
1 butter
1 box(s) sweet cream
1 package(s) small package of dehydrated coconut
2 corn flour, preferably yellow
1/2 salt
350 Bagaces powdered cheese
1 1/2 cup sugar
Directions
  1. Cook the corn with enough water, when it's soft remove from heat and wash with cold water until the water runs clear; grind it either at home with a corn grinder, or take it to the mill to have it ground.
  2. Separately, microwave the butter bar for one minute until liquid, add it to the corn along with the remaining ingredients; beat with a spoon and when everything is ready, grease a medium-sized baking pan and add the mixture.
  3. Once ready, bake at 450°C for 2 hours until it browns on top. To check if it's cooked inside, insert a knife until it comes out clean. Can be served hot or cold.
