Ingredients
500 gr corn masa
500 gr grated white cheese
1 tbsp sour yuca starch
2 cup(s) rice pudding prepared with panela
Directions
  1. Mix masa with cheese and sour yuca starch, place in bowl and knead.
  2. Take portions and make balls that are placed on plantain leaves and patted (spread with fingertips) to remain like thin arepas, place large spoonful of rice pudding and close by folding leaf and pressing edges.
  3. Arrange empanadas on greased tray and bake in preheated oven at 300° for approximately 15 minutes.
