Rompope de flores de ayote (Ganadora)

Ingredients
1 bottle(s) milk
3 egg yolks
¼ lbs sugar
2 cornstarch
rum to taste
2 blended ayote flowers
Directions
  1. Bring milk and sugar to a boil.
  2. When boiling, add cornstarch dissolved in cold water, remove from heat, and strain through a cloth strainer preferably.
  3. Beat the yolks, add the milk and 2 cups of ayote flowers, and return to heat, stirring constantly, but without letting it boil or it will curdle.
  4. When done, let cool, add liquor, and bottle.
  5. Before bottling, the bottle must be sterile and rinsed with liquor first.
