Ingredients
250 gr soft butter
250 gr sugar
250 gr capio corn flour
4 piece(s) beaten eggs
250 gr grated white cheese
1/2 piece(s) shot of aguardiente
1/2 cup(s) seedless raisins, floured
achira or bijao leaves
Directions
  1. Beat the butter and sugar by hand until forming a foamy cream.
  2. Gradually, without stopping beating, add the flour and eggs; then the cheese, aguardiente, and raisins.
  3. Mix everything very well and form the quimbolitos by taking small portions of the dough.
  4. Wrap in achira leaves, secure with twine or kitchen string, and steam for 1 hour.
  5. Serve hot.
