Pinchos con Café (Beef Skewers with Coffee Sauce)

Ingredients
1000 gr beef tenderloin
4 tbsp oil
3 tbsp mustard
4 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup(s) brewed coffee
pinch salt and pepper to taste
wooden or metal skewers
Directions
  1. Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces.
  2. Mix together the oil, mustard, and soy sauce. Marinate the meat with this mixture and let it rest for at least 1 hour.
  3. Afterwards, drain the meat and reserve the marinade. Thread the meat onto wooden or metal skewers and grill them on a barbecue, or cook in a large skillet or on a griddle, turning them to cook evenly.
  4. Separately, in a skillet mix the reserved meat marinade with the coffee, adding salt and pepper. Bring to heat and cook until the sauce reduces slightly.
  5. Remove the skewers from heat and serve bathed in the coffee sauce.
