Ingredients
500 gr wheat flour
1/2 cup(s) sugar
125 gr butter
1 cup(s) warm water
1 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp anise
Directions
  1. Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water.
  2. Mix sugar and butter, beat until lumps disappear and it's creamy.
  3. Gradually add flour, warm water, salt and anise; knead the dough very well and let rise for two hours, covered with a cloth.
  4. Form the breads, place on greased pans and bring to preheated oven at 350°, for about 25 minutes.
