Directions
- Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water.
- Mix sugar and butter, beat until lumps disappear and it's creamy.
- Gradually add flour, warm water, salt and anise; knead the dough very well and let rise for two hours, covered with a cloth.
- Form the breads, place on greased pans and bring to preheated oven at 350°, for about 25 minutes.
