gr yuca (cassava), peeled and cut

gr potatoes, peeled and cut
Directions
- Guiso: 2 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped · 2 onions, chopped · 2 scallion stalks, chopped · 2 garlic cloves, chopped · 4 cilantro leaves, chopped · 2 tablespoons oil · salt, cumin and pepper to taste.
- Cook the turtle meat in water that covers it for a minimum of 2 hours, until tender.
- Remove, drain and chop finely, reserving the broth.
- Mix with the guiso and sauté a little.
- Return to the broth where it was cooked, add the yuca and potatoes and cook again over low heat (covering the pot) until everything is soft, about 30 minutes.
- The sauce should be thick.
- Serve with fariña or farofa.
