Ingredients

grated arracache (white carrot)
2
milk
2
cinnamon
cloves to taste
2
egg yolks
1
cup(s) sugar
3
cornstarch
rum to taste
Directions
- Blend the arracache with the milk, strain the liquid, and set aside.
- Discard the arracache.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over low heat, add cinnamon and cloves, and let it boil.
- Let cool and strain the liquid again.
- Bring to a boil again, add egg yolks and sugar, stirring constantly.
- When about to boil, add corn starch and stir constantly for 20 minutes.
- Then add rum to taste.
- Let cool and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Serve and enjoy.
