Rompope de arracache

Ingredients
2 grated arracache (white carrot)
2 milk
2 cinnamon
cloves to taste
2 egg yolks
1 cup(s) sugar
3 cornstarch
rum to taste
Directions
  1. Blend the arracache with the milk, strain the liquid, and set aside.
  2. Discard the arracache.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer over low heat, add cinnamon and cloves, and let it boil.
  4. Let cool and strain the liquid again.
  5. Bring to a boil again, add egg yolks and sugar, stirring constantly.
  6. When about to boil, add corn starch and stir constantly for 20 minutes.
  7. Then add rum to taste.
  8. Let cool and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  9. Serve and enjoy.
