Ingredients
4 breadfruit
1 chicken meat
oil, salt, seasonings (1 packet of chicken bouillon)
basil to taste
½ roll(s) culantro
1 sweet pepper
½ cup(s) finely chopped onion
1 egg
1 margarine
½ cup(s) masa (corn dough)
achiote to taste
Directions
  1. First peel the breadfruits and pass them through boiling water to remove the stains.
  2. Let them sit for about 15 minutes, check that they are soft, remove from heat, drain the water, let them cool and make a puree by mashing with a fork.
  3. Then season that puree with salt, egg, seasonings to taste, a pinch of salt, chicken bouillon and the half cup of masa.
  4. Knead and make balls, flatten into a tortilla and form rolls by filling them with the following preparation.
  5. Then fry them and serve as desired as a side dish for meals or as a snack to share with coffee.

  7. Cook the chicken and season well with sweet pepper, onion, culantro, basil, salt, seasonings and a pinch of achiote.
  8. Note: This quantity yields 10 servings and the filling can be optional: chicken, pork, beef, etc.
