Pan de Anís (Anise Bread)

Ingredients
4 yeast
1 cup(s) warm milk
1 sugar
300 natilla (Costa Rican sour cream)
6 eggs
1 cup(s) milk
2 margarine
3 sugar
1/2 cup(s) grated dulce de tapa (Costa Rican raw cane sugar)
1 pinch salt
2 flour
anise
Directions
  1. Mix yeast with sugar and water. Let rest until tripling in size.
  2. Melt margarine, let cool. Warm milk.
  3. Beat eggs until slightly foamy.
  4. Mix all ingredients and knead until smoothing dough.
  5. Grease container, place dough, and let double for approximately 1 hour.
  6. Form breads, place on baking sheet covered with plantain leaves.
  7. Cover with lint-free cloth or tablecloth. Let double.
  8. Brush with beaten egg and bake in preheated oven at 350°F until golden.
  9. Let cool and store in plastic bags.
