Ingredients
4 piece(s) liters of basic broth (see next recipe)
500 gr aged corn dough
500 gr green beans
500 gr brown potato
500 gr red potato
1/2 piece(s) medium cabbage (approximately 1 pound)
1/2 cup(s) finely chopped parsley
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp salt
Directions
  1. Put the beans to cook in the basic broth and when they are soft add the brown potato and cabbage chopped in thin strips.
  2. When the brown potato softens, add the red potato.
  3. Knead the aged corn dough with oil and salt, and form little masses like little fingers about 4 cm long by 1½ thick.
  4. When the red potato has softened, throw the masitas into the broth; let cook 5 more minutes and serve hot with chopped parsley.
