Ingredients
1 kg fish roe (bocachico, dentón)
1 cup(s) refrito (Pacific-style sauce)
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Wash roe very well carefully so they don't detach from membrane covering them.
  2. Place in pan with refrito, stir and let cook few minutes.
  3. Take portions and wrap in toasted and greased plantain leaves, which are grilled over coals on grate, turning them.
  4. Eaten with arepas or majajas.
