1 kg corn masa
1 kg pork roast
2 piece(s) sweet peppers
1 piece(s) bunch of culantro coyote
1/2 kg potatoes
1/2 kg carrots
1/2 kg green beans
1/2 kg plantain or banana leaves
1/2 kg pork bacon
3 piece(s) bouillon cubes
salt
Directions
  1. Clean the leaves and select them in pairs.
  2. Cook the meat and chop into pieces, season with achiote, and add to masa along with meat broth.
  3. Add salt and bouillon. Cook masa until it boils. Remove from heat and form tamalitos, one large spoonful of masa per tamal plus other ingredients.
  4. Cook for 40 minutes.
