1500 gr (1 1/2 kg) meaty pork belly
1 tbsp baking soda
4 cup(s) water
1 tsp salt
Directions
  1. Scrape the pork skin until no bristles remain, wash and rub well with baking soda, and leave for a while; wash again and cut into portions 8 cm long by 2 or 3 cm wide, making cuts like fringe.
  2. Place in the pan with water and salt, over low heat, turning them from time to time; after the water evaporates, let fry in their own fat until toasted.
