Ingredients
1500 gr catfish cut into 8 thick slices
4 piece(s) lemons
1 piece(s) bottle (750 ml) of beer
2 piece(s) ripe tomatoes, crushed
2 piece(s) scallion stalks, chopped
2 clove(s) garlic, crushed
125 gr butter
2 cup(s) milk
1 cup(s) toasted bread, ground
1 tbsp thyme and bay leaf, ground
pinch pepper and salt to taste

Directions
  1. Rub the fish slices with lemon juice to soften the bones.
  2. Sauté a little in oil on both sides.
  3. Then put to marinate in beer, tomatoes, scallion, garlic, thyme, bay leaf, pepper and salt (to cover for 2 hours).
  4. Remove and put in a casserole with milk, butter, toasted bread and salt.
  5. Let conserve over low heat for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve accompanied with white rice.
