Ingredients
2 piece(s) green plantains, peeled and cooked
2 clove(s) garlic, chopped
2 tbsp hogao (tomato-onion sauce) [see p. 319]
oil (or lard)
Directions
  1. Peel and cut the plantains lengthwise.
  2. Fry in butter until golden.
  3. Sprinkle with grated cheese and serve hot.
