Ingredients
6 piece(s) large apples
2 piece(s) eggs, beaten
125 gr butter, melted
125 gr cornstarch
1 piece(s) teaspoon of baking powder
250 gr pound cake
1/2 cup(s) raisins
2 piece(s) egg whites
pinch sugar to taste
Directions
  1. Pass the apples through boiling water for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. Remove and drain.
  3. Take half and set aside to cover the cake.
  4. Grind (or blend) the other half, and add the sugar, butter, eggs, starch, baking powder, and crumbled pound cake; knead everything well and place in a buttered mold.
  5. Cover with a layer of thin apple slices, which are brushed with egg whites using a small brush.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 300°F for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
