Sweet papaya honey with spices and coloring.

Ingredients
1 kg green papaya
10 cup(s) water
2 piece(s) cinnamon sticks
4 cup(s) sugar
4 piece(s) drops of red food coloring
4 piece(s) drops of green food coloring
Directions
  1. Grate the papaya, let sit for 10 minutes then peel it and make strips with the potato peeler.
  2. Bring the water to a boil, add the papaya strips, cook for 10 minutes, remove from heat and drain.
  3. Divide the papaya into two parts, add green food coloring to one and red food coloring to the other. Then place in separate containers and put on the heat, add two cups of sugar and the cinnamon to each one. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
  4. If you wish to make piñonate syrup, cook for 25 minutes, stir constantly and remove from heat, place in portions, first the green, and then the red, as if forming a flower.
