Ingredients
flour
1 cup(s) sugar
¼ powdered cheese
1 box(s) sweet cream
¼ lard or 2 sticks of lactocrema (melted)
5 eggs
3 yeast
1 baking powder
¾ cup(s) milk
2 vanilla
2 cinnamon
1 nutmeg or anise seed
1 raisins (optional)
Directions
  1. Dissolve the yeast in ½ cup of milk and let it rest for half an hour.
  2. On a table, place all the flour and form a volcanic cone.
  3. In the center, add the yeast, three eggs, cheese, milk, baking powder, sugar, and knead for 20 minutes. Then let it rise for 30 minutes. If making it with spices (cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg or anise), add them after the eggs.
  4. Divide the dough into 30 pieces, then form little balls with the dough. With your hand, shape them into rolls. Beat two eggs and glaze all the rolls. Place them on a greased and floured tray, let them rise for half an hour, and bake for approximately 20 minutes.
  5. * Four similar recipes were presented, varying in the use of spices. One of them added one cup of orange juice when incorporating the spices.
