Ingredients
500 gr chócolo (sweet corn) kernels
1/4 cup(s) sugar or grated panela
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup(s) country cheese in block or grated coastal cheese
2 tbsp oil
Directions
  1. Blend all ingredients together for 5 minutes.
  2. In a skillet or griddle heat oil over medium-low heat, and then with help of a spoon pour the dough forming a thin and uniform arepa.
  3. After 5 minutes, with a spatula, flip the arepa until golden.
