10 piece(s) tender corn cobs
250 gr white cheese, grated
1 piece(s) egg, beaten
1 piece(s) pinch of sugar
pinch salt to taste
corn husks
chumbes (ties)
Directions
  1. Shave the corn cobs scraping the cob, grind the kernels with the cheese, and knead with the egg, sugar and salt until a firm dough forms.
  2. Put portions in the husks to form wraps about 8 cm long; close, tie with chumbes and cook in water about 30 minutes, placing some cobs at the bottom of the pot to prevent sticking.
  3. Very popular to accompany meats; also eaten with coffee.
