Directions
- Cook the corn in water (approximately 1 hour).
- When tender, remove one cup of corn and grind it; this masa is returned to the water and dissolved in it.
- Prepare a syrup with panela, orange leaves, cloves and cinnamon.
- This syrup is dissolved in the water-masa we had already prepared and the lulo pulps (crushed by hand) and finely chopped pineapple are added.
- Stir everything very well and add a little ice.
- It is customary to serve it cold. (Optional: some prefer to prepare it with more lulos to achieve a stronger flavor).
