6 piece(s) ripe plantains, at maximum ripeness
1 1/2 water
250 gr fresh curd cheese
1 milk
Directions
  1. Peel the plantains, slice thin like ribbons, discard the center.
  2. Cook in water for 20 minutes over medium heat, beating with a whisk until it boils and the strips dissolve well.
  3. Add the crumbled curd and boil until it turns a reddish color.
  4. Add the milk and simmer until achieving the desired thick consistency.
  5. Serve hot in soup bowls, accompanied by cachapas or tungos.
