Ingredients
3 kg tender corn kernels
500 gr pork cracklings
500 gr melted butter
8 piece(s) egg yolks
250 gr sugar
1 tbsp salt
500 gr white cheese, grated
1 piece(s) bottle (750 ml) milk
1 tbsp yeast, dissolved in a little warm water
corn husks (leaves)
fern leaves
Directions
  1. Grind the corn kernels and cracklings together; to this dough add the butter, yolks, cheese, sugar, salt, yeast and milk.
  2. Knead again and let rest for 1 hour.
  3. Take portions and place them in the corn husks, tie and put in a clay pot to steam with little water, for 2 hours, placing fern leaves at the bottom of the pot to prevent sticking.
