Ingredients
500 gr tamale masa
250 gr fried pork cracklings, without skin
625 gr pork meat, chopped and fried
125 gr green peas, cooked
1/2 cup(s) hogao (Colombian sofrito)
plantain leaves
Directions
  1. Heat hogao and add meat, cracklings and peas, cook 20 minutes; then mix with masa and stir.
  2. Take portions, place on plantain leaves, wrap and fold edges both vertically and horizontally to ensure they don't open.
  3. Steam in little boiling water for 60 minutes, on bed of ribs and leaves, adding more hot water if necessary.
  4. Serve hot.
