Directions
- Peel the chayotes and grate them, pass through boiling water and drain in a small muslin cloth bag.
- Place the dulce in a pot with the cinnamon stick and cloves; let it melt with the cup of water. When melted, add the chayote and stir with the wooden spoon until it thickens. When it pulls away from the bottom of the pot, turn off the heat and keep stirring until it cuts. Once ready, spread it on a wooden board, let it cool and cut into small squares.
