Directions
- Split the vanilla bean lengthwise.
- Pour the cream into a saucepan, add the vanilla and four tablespoons of sugar.
- Place over low heat and warm, stirring continuously.
- When the mixture reaches boiling point, remove from heat, discard the vanilla and incorporate the gelatin, previously softened in lukewarm water and squeezed, stirring to dissolve it completely.
- Pour the mixture into a mold or into four individual molds and refrigerate to set for at least two hours.
