guineos (ripe bananas) cooked in salted water, not too soft
ground beef, pork, tuna, chicken, or desired filling to taste (for the filling)
4
beaten eggs
aromatic herbs
salt
achiote (annatto)
Directions
- Cut the guineos in half, place the filling and close.
- The filling is seasoned with aromatic herbs, salt, and achiote, then dipped in beaten egg and browned in a pan with very hot oil.
