dry masa suitable for making tortillas

grated semi-aged cheese

bag of natilla (Costa Rican sour cream)
1
cup(s) sugar
salt to taste
sour milk as needed

margarine
3
egg yolks

cup(s) grated coconut
1
cup(s) powdered milk
leaves plantain
Directions
- Place the cheese, sugar, salt, coconut, and powdered milk. Mix with your hands.
- Add the eggs, natilla, butter, and sour milk. Continue mixing until a dough forms that is not too dry, but not too wet either.
- Line the entire pan with plantain leaves, otherwise grease the pan with lard. Form the pastries (bizcocho) not too thin and place in the pan.
- Preheat the oven to 300°C. Bake until well browned.
- (Makes 15 servings).
