piece(s) tapa de dulce (unrefined cane sugar cone)

piece(s) cinnamon stick

piece(s) fig leaf
Directions
- Melt the sugar cone with a little water along with the cinnamon and fig leaf until it melts well and becomes slightly thick, remove from heat and let cool.
- In a large bowl pour the flour, salt and gradually add room temperature water until it reaches the point of not sticking to your hands.
- Flour the table and take small balls and stretch them with a rolling pin without letting them dry until they are very thin.
- Cook in very hot lard until golden on both sides, drain on an absorbent towel and pour honey to taste.
- Enjoy a delicious prestiño.
