Ingredients
8 piece(s) mojicones (Colombian sponge cakes)
1 piece(s) bottle (750 ml) milk
5 piece(s) eggs, beaten
250 gr sugar
250 gr bocadillo (guava paste), chopped
3 tbsp heavy cream
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Directions
  1. Prepare a cream with the milk, cream, vanilla, eggs, and sugar.
  2. Cook over low heat, without letting it boil.
  3. Cut the mojicones in half and place them in a well-buttered mold; add small pieces of guava paste and more mojicones, pour all the previously prepared cream over everything, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 40 minutes.
  4. Let cool and unmold.
