Ingredients
1 1/2 pork shoulder
1 corn masa (sifted)
1/2 pork lard
6 carrots
1/2 green beans
1 potato
1 head of garlic
1 stick of margarine
6 sweet peppers (3 green and 3 red)
1/2 rice
1 banana leaves (clean)
2 achiote (annatto)
1 can of petit pois
1 sprig of celery
1 small tomato
1/2 cup(s) chopped onion
MSG (to taste)
salt (to taste)
chicken bouillon (to taste)
tomato sauce (to taste)
Lizano sauce (to taste)
1 ball of kitchen twine
Directions
  1. Cook the pork until tender with the aromatics.
  2. Prepare the masa with lard, achiote, and meat broth.
  3. Fill plantain leaves with masa, add meat and vegetables, wrap, and cook for 2 hours.
