Ingredients
12 cup(s) caldo básico [see p. 78]
2 piece(s) carrots, grated
250 gr flake pasta
500 gr potatoes, peeled and cut into matchsticks
1 tbsp parsley
pinch salt and pepper to taste
Directions
  1. In the boiling broth cook the carrots and potatoes for about 25 minutes until tender.
  2. Roll the flake pasta very thin with a rolling pin and cut into 2 cm squares.
  3. Add to the soup, along with salt and pepper, and let boil 10 minutes.
  4. Serve with parsley sprinkled on each plate.
