Ingredients
10 cup(s) caldo básico [see p. 78]
500 gr beef short ribs
750 gr red potatoes, peeled and diced
3 tbsp hogao [see p. 87]
500 gr noodles
2 tsp cilantro, finely chopped
pinch salt and pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Bring the broth to a boil.
  2. Remove the bone used to prepare it; chop the meat finely and sauté with the hogao.
  3. Put the potatoes and meat in the broth and cook for 20 minutes, then add the noodles, salt and pepper, and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve with cilantro sprinkled over each portion.
