Ingredients
2 water
6 potatoes, peeled and julienned
3 carrots, peeled and julienned
8 tender chayotes cut into wedges
6 tender baby corn
1/2 tacacos (squash shoots)
6 tender guineos (baby bananas)
3/4 ground meat
2 whole eggs
1/2 cup(s) corn masa
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/4 cup(s) sweet bell pepper
1/4 cup(s) onion
2 garlic cloves
culantro coyote (wild cilantro)
salt to taste
Directions
  1. In a pot add the water along with all the vegetables already prepared, peeled, and cut.
  2. Let it boil for 40 minutes. Add the culantro coyote and salt to taste.
  3. In a separate container, add the ground meat, eggs, corn masa, bell pepper, onion, garlic cloves, and bouillon cubes. Mix very well until the ingredients are homogeneous.
  4. Once the masa is ready, proceed to make little balls of ground meat, add them to the soup, and let boil for 35 more minutes.
