Directions
- In a non-metallic container, leave the corn soaking in water at a level that covers it overnight. The next day, wash it well, drain and grind it.
- To the resulting dough add grated cheese, butter, sugar and salt to taste, and mix everything until achieving a mixture that can be easily shaped. If the dough lacks moisture, you can add a little water.
- Form the arepas and grill or fry them until they are golden.
