Directions
- Cook the corn, then grind it, strain the masa, and let it settle until the next day.
- Then pour out the water until you can see what has settled.
- Put the meat to cook with a head of garlic and salt.
- Cook the masa with a little bit of broth from the cooked meat.
- Season the meat with onion and achiote.
- Then place the roasted and cleaned leaves and add the meat, carrot, and cilantro.
- Afterwards, wrap them, tie them, and cook over high heat for half an hour in a pot with boiling water.
- Makes 75 tamales.
