roasted ants
yapurá fruits
umarí fruits
chontaduro or pupuña fruits (peach palm)
siringa or rubber tree fruits
carurú leaves
yuca leaves
pinch salt to taste
pinch ají to taste
Directions
- Cook the fish in a pot with water and 2 cups of chopped carurú and yuca leaves.
- Then add the pulp of the yapurá, umarí, pupuña and siringa fruits, as well as the ants.
- At the end of cooking, when everything is soft, add salt and ají. For this preparation, combine wild fruits according to their availability.
