pinch salt, pepper and cumin to taste
Directions
- Bring a pot with water to the fire along with the cut-up hen, green onion, garlic, salt, pepper and cumin to taste. Let it cook over low heat for 1-2 hours, or until the bird is tender.
- Add the plantains, yuca and pumpkin, and cook everything for 20 more minutes.
- Add cilantro and cover, finishing the preparation with another 10 minutes of cooking.
- Serve with white rice.
