1 tbsp baking powder
1 cup(s) water
2 tbsp butter
salt
Directions
  1. Very popular in island cuisine to complement stews and soups.
  2. Essentially the masa is the same, although depending on the shape given or preparation used, they change names.
  3. Mix everything and knead well.
  4. Make small rolls with wet hands, which, cut, are placed in hot soups.
  5. With masa a bit looser (with more water), make small cakes that are placed with rondón [see p. 338] before finishing cooking.
  6. Drop spoonfuls into stews (drops) before serving.
