Directions
- Very popular in island cuisine to complement stews and soups.
- Essentially the masa is the same, although depending on the shape given or preparation used, they change names.
- Mix everything and knead well.
- Make small rolls with wet hands, which, cut, are placed in hot soups.
- With masa a bit looser (with more water), make small cakes that are placed with rondón [see p. 338] before finishing cooking.
- Drop spoonfuls into stews (drops) before serving.
