  1. Peel the tomatoes, and leave the stems.
  2. Put to cook in 4 cups of water, for 30 minutes, until they soften.
  3. Add the other 4 cups of water and sugar, let soak for 30 minutes over low heat (removing the foam), sprinkle a few drops of lemon and serve in candy dishes once cold.
