cup(s) milk

tbsp hogao [see p. 87]

tbsp butter
1
tbsp parsley, finely chopped
1
tbsp cilantro, finely chopped

cup(s) ripe plantain cut in small cubes and fried until golden
pinch salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Bring the broth to a boil.
- Separately, mix the bean puree with the hogao, butter, milk, herbs, salt and pepper.
- Lower to low heat and stir until incorporated and the broth thickens.
- Serve with plantain sprinkled on top.
