Ingredients
12 cup(s) caldo básico [see p. 78]
3 cup(s) frisoles, cooked and ground
1 cup(s) milk
4 tbsp hogao [see p. 87]
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
2 cup(s) ripe plantain cut in small cubes and fried until golden
pinch salt and pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Bring the broth to a boil.
  2. Separately, mix the bean puree with the hogao, butter, milk, herbs, salt and pepper.
  3. Lower to low heat and stir until incorporated and the broth thickens.
  4. Serve with plantain sprinkled on top.
