500 gr crab meat
2 tbsp white vinegar
2 clove(s) minced garlic
3 tbsp coconut oil
1 piece(s) chopped onion
1 piece(s) finely chopped red bell pepper
125 gr chopped or ground green papaya
2 piece(s) finely chopped hot peppers
salt
500 gr wheat flour
1 tbsp oil
1/4 cup(s) water
oil for frying
Directions
  1. Mix the wheat flour, tablespoon of oil, water, and a pinch of salt, then proceed to knead until you have a homogeneous dough. Form regular-sized balls with this, which are left to rest for a few minutes.
  2. In coconut oil, sauté garlic, onion, bell pepper, green papaya, and hot peppers until soft, then add the crab meat, salt, and vinegar. Cook everything for 15 minutes, remove from heat, and set aside.
  3. Flatten and extend the dough balls, and fill with the sauté. Close well, forming the empanadas.
  4. Fry in hot oil until golden.
