Ingredients
2000 gr yuca
2 piece(s) ripe plantains
pinch sugar to taste
pinch salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Directions
  1. Peel yuca, cut in squares and leave in water for 2-3 days, after which grind well.
  2. Cook the ripe plantains with skin and all until they are soft. Remove, peel and mash.
  3. Add to the yuca dough the mashed plantain, oil, sugar and salt to taste.
  4. Knead this mixture well and form the arepas; put to roast on a griddle over plantain leaves.
