Directions
- Cut the icacos in a cross and leave in lemon water overnight.
- In the morning remove the skins.
- Cook with sugar, on low heat, in enough water to cover them, until they soften and release part of the pulp.
- They should be like a jelly.
- Add a few drops of lemon so they turn red, remove from heat and serve in dessert bowls.
