Ingredients
1500 gr (1 1/2 kg) of beef tenderloin
1 piece(s) lime (juice)
2 tbsp oil
1 piece(s) white onion, peeled and finely chopped
2 clove(s) garlic, ground
1 tsp panela (unrefined cane sugar), very finely grated (optional)
pinch salt and pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Cut the sirloin (one portion per person).
  2. Rub the pieces with lemon juice, oil, onion, garlic, salt and pepper, and let rest 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a clay pot over the fire and grease a little, and there cook the steaks on both sides, to taste.
  4. Serve on hot arepas.
